I think being a creator actually means creating something meaningful impactful even to the less public. It's not always about publicity it's about creating value and being brave enough to put yourself out there...
As a fellow introvert and business owner I loved this! It made me feel seen. I've been getting a lot of content lately though from other writer/creators saying that online course interest and sales are declining. There's too much information and people are burnt out from the "course craze" of a few years ago. I'd love to know your thoughts on that. Thanks!
Mostly memberships and retainers. Some high-ticket masterminds. All of which I've been a part of and have no issue with if the content is valuable. But I feel the same about courses. Everything has its place if it's the right audience.
I've heard the same but as an L&D professional/trainer creating self-paced courses is my superpower. I'm glad to hear that self-paced courses are still a thing. I like them myself and have purchased quite a few.
Im also an introvert. I like to write so I started my newsletter. I’m not interested in making extra content like videos or ig posts. I just try to make it clear and simple to follow
Hello fellow introvert. 😊 I’m happy to have found your post. You get me! LOL. I’m just starting on Substack and it’s been a mix of excitement and uggh seeing to many post of how to get a trillion followers fast. I don’t want to be an influencer, I want to be an inspiration to those who are on similar path. I’m looking forward to the journey on my terms and am excited to see where it leads. 🙏
This Is Very wonderful Matt.

I'd rather look at what business model these people try to push on you :)
high ticket? memberships? retainers?
Chances are they play down courses because of that.

Even as an extrovert there are lots of good nuggets in here.
glad to hear that, Lee.
I found your post through Christine Piccoli’s post. I’m thinking of going paid on Substack
or free but promoting affiliate products instead. This post just gave me an idea. :-)
glad to hear that!

Glad it was helpful!
Writing isn’t just introvert-friendly.
It’s introvert-optimized.
While extroverts rush to camera, introverts build wealth in silence.
The greatest leverage isn’t personality—it’s depth of thought captured on the page.
Digital prosperity follows intellectual clarity, not performance energy.
Love this man!
glad it resonated, Joby :)
