The right approach you made here Matt. You started on a very specific niche and you took it from there. But that only happened because you listened to what was working. Spot on the advice

I really feel like You are the niche, because people buy from people they like and trust. There's a notable man in my community. The prices at his store are extremely expensive. But everybody buys his stuff because he is active in the community, he gives away free stuff those in need and he prpvides exceptional customer service and treats his customer and employees like family. People buy from people they like and trust. So I feel like people do give a damn about your personal story. It is important to share a little of yourself to build rapport and create relatability. I was sending out email after email to my audience trying to inform them about things and give out golden nuggets of advice. My unsubscribe rate was starting to shoot to almost 9%. It wasn't until I started opening up about myself and explaining who I was and telling personal stories did my unsubscribe rate go down. So I still stand by "You are the niche"
