Love this Matt. I must say I often struggle to not brag and instead show what happens in the background and failures. I began to embrace those a few months ago and I enjoy writing more now - because when I did that I felt most vulnerable but at the same time more confident in showing my real self.

Love the authenticity here. This is the kind of approach even I align with but it seems there either aren’t enough people who align because most create the self congratulatory or may be they do align but aren’t sharing that that’s how they feel. I am grateful you did.
As a CPA, you can imagine that I have a hard time not writing technical stuff. However, I also have been trying to incorporate more stories into my posts so my readers can see how what I am talking about applies to them. Been a lot more fun putting those stories in, and I think it makes me more relatable.
