i'm a "recovering perfectionist"

The shower - for some reason every time I get into the shower ideas from flooding into my head and I have to have either a notepad or my phone so that I can record them as they flow.

When I get out of the shower, I almost immediately go ahead and finish writing the article, editing and publish it right then.

I'm learning to be a writer. I have a lot of stories to tell and information to help people however, when the emotion is raw, I believe that's my best writing.... as tears flow down my face or my heart pounds with anger

I have found that consistency in writing has definitely improved my writing and also the help of people like yourself .

thank you !!!!

Matt I can resonate so much of what you said here. Especially the whole thing of having great ideas in your head but as soon as you start to write something about, they don't look so great anymore.

Sometimes I don't care if something does flop. Because every time I publish and put my ideas out there, I get clearer of what those ideas are

That's a great commentary. Personally, when I see "polished" work, I get bored, or suspicious, especially with media with fancy, customized graphics, matching color themes, etc. I appreciate the raw cuts with useful information and original ideas. Generic fluff with no substance is not useful, however way you paint it.
